Bho Hoong Bungalows is a pioneer in community-based tourism in the mountainous area of Quang Nam province, Vietnam.
Located in the heart of the Truong Son Mountains, the bungalows offer a unique opportunity to experience the traditional way of life of the Co Tu ethnic minority.
The five moongs (bungalows) are arranged in a bow around the Guol house, a spiritual and cultural symbol of the Co Tu community. The bungalows were built entirely from natural materials, with thatched roofs, bamboo interiors, and wooden furniture. Local artisans have delicately carved, woven, and painted the many decorative works adorning the bungalow interiors, each reflecting their unique culture and heritage.
Guests of Bho Hoong Bungalows can participate in a variety of activities, including traditional Co Tu cooking classes, rice wine making, bamboo weaving, and hiking in the surrounding mountains. They can also learn about the Co Tu’s rich history and culture from the village elders.
Bho Hoong Bungalows is the perfect place to experience the beauty and authenticity of the Truong Son Mountains and the Co Tu way of life.
