Panhou Retreat

Hidden in the stunning High Song Chay mountains of Ha Giang Province in Northern Vietnam,  PanHou Retreat is a pioneer of responsible and ethical tourism in the region. 

The founders of the lodge, French-Vietnamese couple Lan Phuong and Michel, have been organizing trekkings in collaboration with local minorities. When their new neighborhood saw their dog, they called the place “Pan hou Village”, as a reference to the legendary Pan Hou, a dragon dog of five colors.

The resort offers a comfortable accommodation option for visitors while providing income opportunities to the locals.

The spa is a healing place where guests will be offered traditional massages, relaxing tea, and medicine herbs baths, a specialty of the Lu Mien tribes.
