Today, we are thrilled to inform you that our team of Herost Global Youth Ambassadors is growing and has just welcomed its newest member, Albert Kim.
Albert was born and raised in a small town of the Spanish region of Catalonia. He met our co-Founder and CEO Catherine, a few years ago when he moved to his second home country, Korea.
As a kid raised in a multicultural family, he grew up being aware of the importance of learning from outside his comfort zone. Very early, he became passionate about travelling. So far, Albert has lived in Spain, Denmark, Ecuador and South Korea.
Albert holds a masters degree in Spatial Planning and Environmental Management, and currently works in international trade after a few years dedicated to the travel industry. He is really keen on contributing to sustainable tourism development and tackling the problems of overtourism in major cities.
One of his best trips was in Uzbekistan and one of his best experiences was in Ecuador. When travel resumes, his wish list include other Central Asian countries, and South American countries.
Albert is an avid hiker and practitioner of yoga.
