Hello Herost friends! Today, we have the pleasure to introduce you to our new Herost Global Youth Ambassador, Kamilia KENTRA, from Morocco.

” Salam, I’m Kentra, a Moroccan living in Korea.

I have always dreamed of studying in Korea, not only because of its level of education but also because it’s an amazing country rich in terms of history and culture and that’s how I grew fond of it. I have been studying and working in the tourism field for quite some time now and I must say that being here really helped and still is helping me shape different skills through the many multicultural involvements that I have engaged in.

Since I was a child, I have always liked to explore. I never wanted to be just a consumer but also a helper and a doer; I wanted to become an explorer myself and curiosity for me is the engine and is the reason why I have decided to join this field. I’m very interested in researching and discovering new things and the tourism industry has definitely opened up my eyes on how large the world is and also how hard the industry is as well. Tourism is indeed a very important source of revenue but it’s also one of the most important tools to reduce the different barriers between countries and allow them to have a cultural interaction that would hopefully lead to an understanding of their customs and traditions. And this is something that the world definitely needs.”
